The following Points will be awarded to participants during the 2007-2008 Season competitions. Strike and Score points are awarded in SATURDAY competition only. Members will earn points for any tournament they participate in. However, their Point Standings will include only those Points earned in their best (most points earned) nine (9) events.

Points are also awarded for consecutive Strikes in a Game – with 2 points for five in a row and an additional point for each additional strike until the string is broken or the game ends. (i.e. eight strike string = 5 points )
Points will be awarded based on score achieved each game. A 200 score will receive 1 point; a 225 score – 2 points; a 250 score – 3 points; a 275 score – 4 points and a 300 game will receive 10 points.

All regular season tournaments are eligible tournaments for any member to earn Points. If a member bowls more than nine tournaments – the nine in which the most Points were earned will be the nine used to determine the Point Standing for that member. Also, the point standings after final April competition will be the standings used to invite the first “qualified” (participation in at least 6 tournaments) members to Superbowl. The last invitees will be selected by place in May qualifying tournament. A member with five tournaments prior to May event can win a Superbowl berth by placing in the top spots in MAY, regardless of Point Standing prior to May Tournament. Final Points Champion will be determined following the May qualifier event.
There will be a point awarded to any member completing their RECAP for Qualifying on first day with no errors in scoring or computation of correct plus/minus standing. Failure to complete or untimely submission of a RECAP will also reduce bonus points earned by a point.
