These Points are awarded to participants during the 2011-2012 Season competitions. Strike & Score points are awarded in Qualifying (Saturday) competition only. Members earn points for each tournament they are participant in. However, Point Standings include only Points earned in best (most points earned) nine (9) events. ALL SPORT Shot Qualifying Events earn an additional award (based on average awarded points in participant’s division during house qualifiers in prior seasons) which is meant to equalize qualifiers.

Points awarded for consecutive Strikes in any Game: 2 points for five in a row plus one point for
each additional strike until the string is broken or game ends. (i.e. eight strike string = 5 points )
Points awarded for Score achieved each Game: 200 score = 1 point; 225 score = 2 points;
250 score = 3 points; 275 score = 4 points and a 300 game receives 10 points.

All regular season tournaments are eligible tournaments for any member to earn Points. If a member bowls more than nine tournaments – the nine in which the most Points were earned will be the nine used to determine Point Standing for that member. Also, point standings after final April competition will be standings used to invite the first “qualified” (participation in at least 6 tournaments) members to Superbowl. The last invitees will be selected by place in May (Last Chance) qualifying tournament. A member with five tournaments prior to May (Last Chance) event can earn Superbowl berth by placing in top spots in Last Chance, regardless of Point Standing prior to Last Chance. Final Point Champions will be determined following the May (Last Chance) qualifier event.
There will be a point awarded to any member completing their RECAP for Qualifying on first day with no errors in scoring or computation of correct plus/minus standing. Failure to complete or untimely submission of a RECAP will also reduce bonus points earned by a point.
