2012 Season – August 1, 2011 thru July 31, 2012 :=)

Jan 7 & 8, 2012 à Sixty One (61) members participated with Twenty Two (22) Masters, Twenty Six (26) Classic and Thirteen (13) Minors.

Event was rolled on the Team USA Mexico City Shot. We continued practice of using fresh pair for three FINAL matches.

2012 Season – At Junior Gold this summer, Gary Faulkner made Junior Team USA, Addileen Pointer was selected to participate again and

now at Team USA Trials- another SSJBA bowler joins them following selection, congrats to Kamron Doyle.

Ball Winner: Grant Martin rolled + 78 with a 244 game and a 166 average.

Five new members joined the competition fields for the 2012 Season. Three 2011 members began participating in 2012 season.

In Minors, Drew Turberville claimed first 2012 Minors Title. Champion did not Advance to Classic competition.

In Classic, Bryan Dirksen claimed first 2012 Classic Title. Champion did not Advance to Masters Competition.

In Masters, Alex Martin claimed first 2012 Masters Title.

Average based Advancements pertain to Cumulative Season Average not individual tournament Averages.

Advancement of Competition level occurs at average of +5 (170 for Minors – 190 for Classic) with a Title à OR à

Advancement occurs at average of +10 (175 for Minors - 195 for Classic) for 2 consecutive competitions without a Title.

At end of 2011 Calendar Year and middle of 2012 SSJBA Season there is ONE repeat Title winner in all three Divisions – They are:

Brandie McLain in Minors – Will Curtis in Classic – Kamron Doyle in Masters – Brandie and Will took theirs back to back.

SSJBA also adopted a new Decal for 2012 Season – One is general and for $5 you can have yours (Dan matches with $5) and SSJBA scholarship

funds will have $10 increase. Another is for all Sponsoring Centers and a Third is for ALL Champions. CHECK THEM OUT NEXT STOP.

Ninth Stop for 2012 Season is House Qualifying/Team USA Stockholm Shot for Match Play and Finals.

Event will be held at Winchester Bowl in Memphis, TN.
