2012 Season – August 1, 2011 thru July 31, 2012 :=)

Jan 21 & 22, 2012 à Thirty Eight (38) members participated with Fourteen (14) Masters, Fourteen (14) Classic and Ten (10) Minors.

Qualifying was House Shot while Match Play and Finals were rolled on the Team USA Seoul Shot. We continued practice of using

fresh pair (9 & 10) for three FINAL matches.

2012 Season – At Junior Gold this summer, Gary Faulkner made Junior Team USA, Addileen Pointer was selected to participate

again and at Team USA Trials- another SSJBA bowler joins them following selection, congrats to Kamron Doyle.

One new member joined the competition fields for the 2012 Season. Two 2011 members began participating in 2012 season.

Second 300 of Season rolled in Qualifying by Zachary Marlow (threw 6, 7 and 8 games of 268, 300 and 254 with 30 consecutive strikes)

In Minors, Joshua Wilson claimed first 2012 Minors Title. Champion did not Advance to Classic competition.

In Classic, Donny Turner claimed first 2012 Classic Title. Champion did not Advance to Masters Competition.

In Masters, Zachary Marlow claimed first 2012 Masters Title.

In first Nine Tournaments all three Divisions have EIGHT different Champions – Great Competition fields…..

there is ONE repeat Title winner in all three Divisions – They are:

Brandie McLain in Minors – Will Curtis in Classic – Kamron Doyle in Masters

Average based Advancements pertain to Cumulative Season Average not individual tournament Averages.

Advancement of Competition level occurs at average of +5 (170 for Minors – 190 for Classic) with a Title à OR à

Advancement occurs at average of +10 (175 for Minors - 195 for Classic) for 2 consecutive competitions without a Title.

SSJBA also adopted a new Decal for 2012 Season – One is general and for $5 you can have yours (Dan matches with $5) and SSJBA scholarship

funds will have $10 increase. Another is for all Sponsoring Centers and a Third is for ALL Champions. CHECK THEM OUT NEXT STOP.

Tenth Stop for 2012 Season is Team USA Los Angeles Shot for entire event.

Event will be held at Smyrna Center in Smyrna, TN.
